Idle Time

Caroline Stanley received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Alberta University of the Arts in 2007, with a major in painting. Stanley has always been a curious explorer and is fascinated by colour, pattern and light found in nature. While most people would be enjoying a spectacular view, she is likely to be found hovering around a tree trunk or kneeling by a lake. Her paintings capture these intimate encounters with nature in saturated realism, creating a surface to explore and experience things often overlooked.

This art piece is located along the corridors of the hotel’s 18th floor.
