Horseshoe Falls, Bow River

The second level houses a portion of Harry Palmer's Tallpec collection. Calgary Power constructed its first hydroelectric facility at Horseshoe Falls on the Bow River in 1911. Exshaw Cement and the City of Calgary were the first users of the electricity produced. The piece itself is a tribute to that period in Calgary's past.
