Art on Second Level
It is impossible to overlook the sizable Windows mural, which The Art Studio created in 2000 and is visible on the second level, linking the hotel to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. The past, present, and future of Calgary and the surrounding area are all represented.
Featured on the same floor are unconventional pieces of art called a Tallpec, created by well-known Calgary artist and photographer Harry Palmer. Palmer imagined the world as seen through the narrow gaps in the castle walls and the long, lanky scroll.
